Why Am Passionate About Photography
Growing up my parents never really had a camera or film or film or even when digital cameras came out it took a while before they got one and I missed a lot of my childhood been teenagers just not having any pictures of myself of course there were more pictures of my older brother this is what really kind of got me into wanting to do photography so I can keep memories because it’s hard for me to remember all of those moments without seeing a triggering image. This moves me into after graduating high school I go to the art institute of Charlotte for photography and I graduate there with my associates degree and honors in photography. From there I work with a commercial portrait studio for 5 years 3 years being an associate in line for assistant manager position 2 years being in manager of a studio for myself. Before those 2 years were full I lost my father and that prompted me to move back to move back to my Hometown area closer to my mother. Losing my father and having 2 children off my own just reinforced how important it is for me to capture memories for both my family and others. To be able to give such great experience and images to people I wanted to create my own company hence Brianna Burkett photography.
